Intel Atom chip for netbooks now with DDR3 support

Intel is expanding its successful line of Atom CPUs. Even in the second quarter of 2010, the chipmaker will probably bring a successor to the Atomic D510 on the market: the atomic D525. The new Atom CPU supports DDR3 memory is clocked at 1.8 GHz and, like its predecessor a TDP of 13 watts.

Chip manufacturer Intel is successful with its Atom CPUs, especially in the market for netbooks. In the months to bring the Intel Atom processor N470, N475 and N455 in the trade. The models Atom N475 and N455 are working together with both DDR2 and DDR3 RAM.

Also still in the current quarter, Intel would bring out a successor to the D510 Atom: The Atom D525 works with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz and, like its predecessor a TDP of 13 watts. It can work both with DDR2 memory as well as with the newer, faster DDR3 memory.

The Atom CPUs with an N before the number are for netbooks, with a D before the number for use in desktop computers as Nettops. With the new Atom CPUs Netbooks and Nettops more become an alternative to desktop PCs or notebooks as far as far as standard applications such as word processing and surfing the Web.

Step before formating your hard disk

Many people want to be able to format their hard drive but it can be an intimidating prospect especially if you don’t know what to do. In this article are going through a few steps that you need to take before you format your hard drive.

Remember, when you format your drive you will lose absolutely everything that you have. For this reason before you format it you need to make sure that you have a backup of all the different files and folders. Failure to do so will mean that your data will be lost forever which is definitely not what you want. Whenever I format drive make sure I have at least two copies in separate places of different files that are especially important. For example I might put one on a DVD and then a second copy on an external hard drive.

Generally it is a good idea to backup everything and leave it a few days before you format the drive. This will give you time to make sure that you haven’t forgotten an important file which can be very easy to do. If you aren’t the only person that uses a computer you need to make sure that all the people who have accounts and files on it are aware that you’ll be formatting it soon so that they can get all important document off it as well.

So why would you want to format a drive in the first place? Hard drives are like garages – they can become very cluttered over time and need a clear out. If you’re installing a new drive then you may also want to format it to get rid of any unwanted files. Formatting a hard drive can also sometimes be the only solution if you have a virus that can’t be got rid of any other way.

How technology Play every day

Technological advances in many areas make it possible to build devices that were not possible 20, 10 or even 5 years ago too. Been the rapid development of integrated circuits (IC) is a major factor and the other important factors are the rapid development of the color screen and camera. Advances in IC’s have led to the reduction of the size and weight of mobile devices as the required processing can be faster with smaller equipment and lower costs. Color high-resolution screens allow complex applications and services are presented for visually that 10 years ago were in science fiction movies were. The pace will occur in which these advances in technology, is mind boggling and difficult to predict.

The Apple iPhone is an excellent example of a phone, the small, smooth and has some amazing applications that 5 years ago would have been difficult to support such a device. Apple have traditional mobile manufacturers like Nokia and Ericsson, that the application to provide equipment services to the customers driven show is far better than a high-specification supports the latest mobile 3GPP specification. The iPhone is a weak instrument in relation to the RF functions, but the average person is not really important that if the phone works.

Keeping it Green With Computer Recycling

If you are part of a large company there is a high probability that you have an IT department. As part of your IT department, you probably have rows of computers. Well, if you have a typical IT department, you probably have something called “clutter” effect, which is known for. This happens when your company upgrades their computers, but the IT department does not know quite what to do with the old machines.

When this happens your company an accumulation of old computers will do somewhere in the building. Probably thinking to himself: “What?” We do not have that! “. Rest assured, it is somewhere in your building, and you’re bound to run over them sooner rather than later. With all the environmental standards in force in relation to the disposal of computers, it is not surprising that the IT department would actually be afraid to throw them away.

How to keep your Computer Healthy

Just like your car, appliances, or anything else that can run computer down over time. With the lighting fast pace at which new technology yesterday’s news, many of us never the effect of time on our machines before they banished to the scrap yard. Unfortunately, this often leads to neglect the physical needs of their users’ machines, the hardware may cause errors. With PC owners to feel the squeeze in this economy, it is good to know that simple things that we all can do to to increase the life of our machines.

Overheating is one of the most dangerous converns for hardware, one of the easier and to minimize or avoid altogether.
