When a few days ago we told you about the advantages of the streamers of content such as media players compared to classical records, we put the counterweight with the notice of the need to search that content to play somewhere.
Precisely for that search are our two following entries in this series of posts on multimedia hard disks. Today we will stop in the most convinces us if you have a NAS or a computer always on to collect the contents.
Guess how we access that content? Exactly, with the magical DLNA.
DLNA, an acronym that means sharing
DLNA or Digital Living Network Alliance is a group of companies (over 200) that work together to establish a standard that is simple and straightforward connection of different equipments in order to share content, especially multimedia.
The advantages of using DLNA to connect computers are mainly two: ease of use and compatibility.
However, although it is talking about an alliance that has its years, progress has been very many. True, they are few and digital home products that are not compatible with the DLNA specification, but have not reached a common agreement for the interface makes that simplicity is not always the DLNA should presume to be present.
I need to connect my hard disk via DLNA
Assuming your hard disk media, either streamer or classic, DLNA compliant, that the vast majority are, few steps to take to collect content from other equipment such as computers or network drives as NAS. Today, also tablets, consoles and mobile phones come with full support for DLNA.
What you need to do is connect the client, this hard drive with DLNA server, if not standard, will be installed on the content source. The NAS often and come prepared to have access to their content is straightforward.
Oh, and do not forget that both teams, both hard drive as the source of content, must be connected to the same home network.

Intel is said to be launching this year based on 25 nanometer 600 gigabyte SSD drive on the market. In the small 1.8-inch format hard drives to be scheduled with up to 300 gigabytes.
Also for the production of the 300 gigabyte 1.8-inch SSD is the new 25 nanometer technology base. The even smaller hard drives are, however, according to a report by fudzilla.com at the beginning of 2011 to the market to come. The new drives with 25 nanometer technology will be out for the 50 nanometer and 34 SSDs in the 1.8-and 2.5-inch format mean. Intel is all of his flash drives with the new 25 nanometer technology will provide.
Compared with the previous versions based on 34 and 50 nanometers, the new memory chips twice as large page-and block sizes of 8 KB or 256 pages will show. This doubles the storage capacity. The 160 gigabyte SSD will thus be the 80-gigabyte SSD to replace, which is covered by the program. The ceiling of 1.8-inch drives will rise to 300 gigabytes. The target group for these small wonders are probably memory in the first place not the end user and not the computer industry. Read the rest of this entry »

For homeowners, it is always practical to purchase items for the house that are durable. While the price is an important factor, it should be considered as the sole basis in buying items for your house. For instance, in buying sinks for your kitchen, you should not opt for something cheap but has a substandard quality. You may try buying stainless steel sinks instead that are proven durable that can stand overtime. Aside from its proven durability, it is also easy to install.

Intel is expanding its successful line of Atom CPUs. Even in the second quarter of 2010, the chipmaker will probably bring a successor to the Atomic D510 on the market: the atomic D525. The new Atom CPU supports DDR3 memory is clocked at 1.8 GHz and, like its predecessor a TDP of 13 watts.
Chip manufacturer Intel is successful with its Atom CPUs, especially in the market for netbooks. In the months to bring the Intel Atom processor N470, N475 and N455 in the trade. The models Atom N475 and N455 are working together with both DDR2 and DDR3 RAM.
Also still in the current quarter, Intel would bring out a successor to the D510 Atom: The Atom D525 works with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz and, like its predecessor a TDP of 13 watts. It can work both with DDR2 memory as well as with the newer, faster DDR3 memory.
The Atom CPUs with an N before the number are for netbooks, with a D before the number for use in desktop computers as Nettops. With the new Atom CPUs Netbooks and Nettops more become an alternative to desktop PCs or notebooks as far as far as standard applications such as word processing and surfing the Web.

If you take out a broadcast on a digital video recorder from the television, you want to burn them then maybe on DVD. This is easy if you have an appropriate combination device, but it is also different. We say how the shipment will be transferred from digital video recorders to the DVD.
How to burn a TV show on DVD, which has been recorded with a digital video recorder (DVR)? Who wants to burn regular TV shows on DVD, buy at best a combination device with which you can record shows to hard drive and then burn them to DVD.
The computer as a VCR can this be a good alternative, for a DVD burner have installed the most modern computer anyway. A TV tuner can be added to cheap, if not a TV tuner in the computer is available. This is an inexpensive solution that is not so easy and fast especially for pay-TV programming has limitations. In the DVB-T reception of free TV channels, however it is quite suitable.
In our instructions, we focus on the situation now, however, that even a digital video recorder is available and uses a separate DVD recorder to dub to DVD. Read the rest of this entry »

Just the day that Kingston introduced the card SDHC32GB and Class 10, ideal for video capabilities of the new DSLR that opt for this type of card, SanDisk brings to stage a 32GB microSD card capacity.
The announcement is interesting for its capacity to put in such a small space, but we must admit that had generated enough buzz to the advancement of that would make a big announcement today, and finally everything seems to be on this memory card.
The idea that we leave this 32GB SanDisk card is to not have to worry about the internal space in the new smartphones. That yes, I need some manufacturers who base their telephone line on different computers with flash memory, let one of these small place inside not to fear in the storage limits.
This Sandisk 32 GB (pictured is a 16 GB) is now on sale for $ 200.

Apple has announced today to the media that the official start of the iPad will be on April 3 for the Wi-Fi model, but only in the U.S. It’s the end of the month when the company will distribute the 3G model in that country, and the rest of the territory intended for international release.
The countries and launch the iPad and in both models (Wi-Fi +3G) are Australia, Canada, Spain, France, Italy, Japan, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Recall that in late April: only the U.S. can enjoy the iPad before that date, as Wi-Fi.
The pre-order will be opened in U.S. on March12, for both models, direct from the Apple store online. On launch day, just have to go to the nearest Apple store to pick it up. The booking process for the other countries has not been specified yet, but it would be logical to think that starts in late March.

Apple continues apparently progressing plans to store movies, series and other iTunes content on a specific Apple Cloud. Thus Apple’s customers could not only large amounts of data easily online store, but from different devices such as the iPad call as a stream.
CNET claims to have learned that Apple is in talks with major movie studios to stream in the future using cloud computing from iTunes purchased content on different devices to be able to. In particular, the iPad, with its in comparison to iPhone and iPod Touch much larger screen would offer that.
Without the consent of the copyright holder Apple movies, series and music can not provide per stream. Whether it’s film and television industry with his Apple cloud computing will support plans, is not safe. The influence of Apple in the distribution of content would continue to grow, which is criticized in the industry.

After you unleash your wrath against me for criticizing all the things I hate the iPad has finally arrived when you return to untie her, only this time, for the things I love about the Appletablet. Where do we start?
1. Design. The iPad is very, very nice. I look at it look. The perfect combination of everything I like about the iPhone (front dominated by the screen and one button, curved profile) with the best of the iMac (aluminum rear). And if it is nice on paper, I hate to imagine how it will be when it is placed next March. You know how attractive are the products of Apple when you have them before (the reason why I am convinced that 50% of those who now say they are not interested then fall into temptation).
2. Screen. As I said earlier, I think the decision to use a display LED instead of other solutions such as electronic ink and the like is extremely accurate. Is it a problem for the success of the iBook Store? I doubt it, and instead, confirms something that I prefer to develop on the next point …
3. Versatility. If the iPhone is already in itself a tremendously versatile gadget, the number of things I imagine doing with the iPad is even greater. Moreover, apart from the obvious uses, the function to operate as a digital photo frame that integrates serial seems to me a true wonder to which I will do my very safe game.
4. Applications.Closely linked to the previous point, applications developers manage to create to squeeze iPad capabilities on the iPhone will be as the real key to their success or failure. Certainly it is a pity that we limited by restrictions and impediments that might get through the Apple approval system of the App Store but in return, the first examples of what future applications will be optimized for the screen size of the tablet puts them very clear why we will not miss a Mac OS X on any rule (at least until Apple decides to provide it with a more imaginative multi-media which has been seen on PC).
5. iWork. The living proof that the iPad is not a widescreen iPod, but a device you can create content as well as consume it. I have friends who only use your laptop to project Keynote presentations. One of them has sold it to buy an iPad.

6. Calendar, Contacts andNotes. As iWork deserve their own point. Its equivalent for Mac OS X and iPhone / iPod touch aged 10 years at the very moment that Apple showed us the new redesigned interface for these applications. The first two in particular are simply beautiful.
7. Multi-Touch.The multi-touch technology of the iPhone reinvented to suit the benefits of its larger screen and combined with a more powerful processor to enable new forms of interaction much more colorful. For example, the method of viewing the photos in an event.
8. Autonomy. We’ll see if those 10 hours that Apple boasts are real or not but it is undeniable that there has been a considerable effort in this direction.
9. Size.If not you will have done what I and printed a picture of the real size iPad to see real big or small it is but I certainly recommend it. Its size is ideal. Not big enough to be a death in our hands, nor so small that it offers no advantage over the iPod touch. I definitely imagine seeing series, reading books and checking email with it while I’m lying on the sofa while my girlfriend keeps busy with TV Gossip Girl(no one is perfect, I love you honey).
10. Price.Okay, we do not know the final price in euro but even simply shift the dollar sign for the euro will remain a good bargain (especially compared to that of some of the devices it replaces as the free e-book readers go further). Even knowing the reports indicate that Apple will continue filling the pockets with each iPad sold thanks to a generous profit margin or that I criticize the price difference between WiFi with 3G model, the starting price of the base model does not may be more tempting.
Steve, how are you things is what youwant.

Panasonic reveals first details of its 3D camcorder, which was announced in January at CES. The camcorder has two lenses in one box.
The AG-3DA1 unspectacular type designation is the new professional 3D Camcorder grown. The approximately 3 kg AG-3DA1 combines two lenses in a housing, which is a special feature. This is particularly compact to transport and better. The 3D camcorder is designed for professional and amateur filmmakers, which is already identified by the estimated price of 21,000 dollars.
The 3D camcorder is equipped with six sensors (3MOS), three for each of the two imaging systems. Each sensor is responsible for one of the primary colors, as a 3D video camera needs the AG-3DA1 accordingly, two for each color. The maximum resolution is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
Even with the compression in AVCHD mode Every minute drop to 350 MB of data. The data is saved on two SDHC cards. Two 32 GB SDHC memory cards used, may record the AG-3DA1 approximately three hours long in 3D until the memory is full. Other equipment features include an HDMI 1.4 interface, a stereo microphone, two HD-SDI outputs and two XLR connectors.
If the 5.7-inch display is not enough, you can connect the 3D LCD monitor BT-3DL2550 with 24-inch diagonal, would like to offer the Panasonic camcorder to coincide with the 3D in the fall. Also comes with the AG-HMX100 a matching AV Mixer for live 3D production to the market.
